Kandahar: Construction of a road in Daman district reaches 22% progress

This road project that extends from Taryaki Baba village of Daman district to the Kabul - Kandahar national highway, is a 4 kilometer long and 5 meters wide concrete road.

The project has been contracted between the Ministry of Public Works and a private construction company, has 22 percent progress up to date, and was funded by the Afghan Government.

This road connects the villages of Taryaki Baba, Anaar Bagh, and Mohmand with the center of Daman district and the Kabul-Kandahar national highway

During the construction of this project, some 3157 working days of employment are predicted for the local residents.

Ministry of Public Works says, with the completion of this road project, the transportation problem of the entire villages will be totally solved, forever.
