Kandahar-Spin Boldak second road will be put into operation soon
The first lot of the Kandahar-Spin Boldak Road project, which runs parallel to the old road through Arghistan and Takhta-Pol and reaches Spin Boldak district, will be inaugurated and put into operation soon.
The length of this road is 40-kilometer long and 11.2-meters wide which’s funded by the Government of Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Public Works, this road is one of the most important government projects that connect the southwestern provinces with the SpinBoldak Dry-port, which is located on the disputed Durand Line with Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that the total length of this road is 79.6-kilometer, the first part of this road, which is 39.6-kilometer, has already been completed.
