Maintenance of the old Kandahar-SpinBoldak road has started

The maintenance of the old line of road between Kandahar City and Spin Boldak has been started by the technical personnel in charge of the Kandahar Public Works Department, on Monday.

According to the Kandahar Public Works Department, the under-maintenance road is Eighty-kilometer long and a seven-meter wide regional highway, which was suffering serious damages for many years.

As a national asset, roads are not only belonging to the Ministry of Public Works but all the Afghan citizens, who are equally obligated to take care of and preserve the asset via cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works.
