MoPW celebrates International Women's Day

International Women's Day which is coinciding with the 8th of March, was celebrated at the Ministry of Public Works in a special ceremony.

In this program, Eng. Najibullah Yamin, Minister of Public Works, Deputy Ministers of MoPW, and Yalda Yousefi, Senior Gender Advisor, Dr. Karimeh Hamed Faryabi, Minister of Economy, Rangineh Hamidi, Minister of Education, Hassina Safi, Minister of Women's Affairs, MPs and employees of the Ministry of Public Works were attended.

While congratulating the 8th of March, the Minister of Public Works highlighted the role of women in government departments as very important, adding that the ability of women should be used at different levels of organizational structures.

Minister Yamin asked the Minister of Women's Affairs and the guests who were participated at the program: “Introduce us more qualified women and engineers so that their abilities and talents can be used in important positions in our ministry.”
