Nuristan: The Kamdish village’s road is under-construction

The construction work of the 8.8-kilometer gravel road project, which starts from the main road of Kamdish district toward the Kamdish village of Nuristan, is 60% complete.

The project, worth more than 29 million Afghanis that’s funded by the Afghan government, has been contracted with the Kamdish village’s development council and implemented by the National Rural Access Program(NRAP) of the Ministry of Public Works.

It is noteworthy that during the construction of this road, 65748 working days are created for the residents.

According to the residents of Kamdish village, this project will facilitate the residents and the entire regional community to increase their transportation access to the district center and provincial capital too.
