Baghlan: Construction of a bridge in Kandahari village is 70% complete

In the central Baghlan district of Baghlan province, a 68-meter-long RCC Bridge is under construction along with a one-kilometer gravel road, which has been located in the sugar-mill area of Kandahari village, has achieved 70 percent progress so far.
The project has been contracted between the Ministry of Public Works and a private construction company, worth more than 39 million Afghanis, and was funded by the Government of Afghanistan.
During the construction of this project, some 6,880 working days have been created for a number of local residents and 17,200 people will also indirectly benefit from this project.
With the completion of this bridge, the residents of the villages of Kandahari, Qahgharat, and Sahebzada will be connected to commercial, health, educational centers. Besides this, the local residents will also get more close to the sugar mill’s local marketplace and finally to the main route of the Kunduz-Baghlan provincial highway.
