Kapisa: The first section of Danesh- Puli Maghan road is due to inaugurate soon
The road between the area of Danesh and Puli Maghan in Kapisa Province, which has a total length of 20-kilometers, is under construction by the Ministry of Public Works.
This project has divided into three sections, the first part of the road is going to be inaugurated in near future, but the rest of the sections are in the period of construction.
Section one of the project which was contracted at a price of 103 million Afghanis, has around 8-kilometer length and 6-meter width, along with 90 culverts of different sizes and 2637-meter long concrete ditches.
The second section of the road is 6.78-kilometer long and 6-meter wide that has 71 culverts and 2323-meter long ditches. This part of the project has been contracted for a price of 114 million Afghanis and has achieved 81.43% work progress so far.
The last section of this road's project is 5.45-kilometer long and 6-meter wide, which has included 62 culverts, 55-meter retaining walls, and 3530-meter long ditches too. The budget for this section is around 73 million Afghanis.
It is noteworthy that the tranche of these projects is funded by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
