Khost: A 5.99 km-long road and a bridge ready for operation

The construction work of a 5.99-kilometer-long concrete road project in Khost Province is completed and ready for operation.

This project was included a 20 meters RCC bridge, extends from Ismail Khel village of Mandozi District and reached the Laghuri Piran village of Tani district.

The project was contracted between the Ministry of Public Works and a private construction company, funded by the Government of Afghanistan and implemented by the NRAP(National Rural Access Program) of MoPW.

During the construction of this project, 12495 working days were created, and with the completion of this project, the transportation problems of the residents of Tani and Mandozi districts will be solved, and it will extend the network of rural connectivity in the region.
