Laghman: 2nd Lot of Mehtarlaam-Baadpakh Road reaches 56% Physical Progress

The official of MoPW/Laghman directorate says; the 2nd lot of the road between Mehtarlaam-Baadpakh is under construction, which is 21-kilometer-long and 6-meter-wide has achieved its 56 percent work progress, so far.

The contract of the upper-mentioned road has been signed with a national private construction company, and the budget of this road is directly funded by the Afghan government.

On the other hand, the implementation of this project has more social impacts, which has created more job opportunities for residents.

The project will reduce the distance between Mehtarlaam - Baadpakh, which will bring the local people closer to the marketplace, public services facilities, education, health centers, and many more opportunities.

It is worth mentioning that the 1st lot of this project with a length of more than 20 km is under construction too.
