Bamyan: The Naal Shera-Martyrs' Gate road to put into operation soon

The 6-kilometer long gravel road project, which starts from the Naal Shera area and reaches the martyrs’ gate of Bamyan center, is due to complete and will be put into operation soon.

The project, worth more than 18 million Afghanis, included two sections and has been contracted with two local development councils, and so far has 97 percent physical progress,

According to the National Road Access Program (NRAP), this project connects the villages of Ledo, Darvazaha, Naal Shera, and the Martyrs' gate with the center of Bamyan, and during the construction period, it has created 15,659 working days for the local people.

With the completion of this project, the transportation problems of the local residents will be solved and many facilities will be provided for them to transfer their agricultural products to the marketplace, on time.
