Dara-e-Suf and Shabashk road project reaches 50% complete

Samangan: This road starts from Sukhta town of Dara-e-Suf district and reached the Shabashak mine of Samangan province, which is 194. 37 kilometers long and 10 meters wide, reached its 50 percent of work progress.

Officials of the Ministry of Public Works say, this project also included two bridges with a total length of 80 meters, 112 culverts of different sizes, and 56 causeways with a total length of 6400 meters.

The project, valued at more than 1 billion Afghanis, has been contracted with a private construction company and funded by the Afghan government.

Indeed, the completion of this project will have a significant role in economic growth; especially in the mining sector, public services (health, education), culture & agriculture, trade, transportation, and connectivity.
