Herat: A 11-Km Road construction is underway in Guzara district

The construction of the 11-km long asphalt road from "Dokan-e-Abul" to the “proja-e-cement” area in Gozara district of Herat province, has reached its 35 percent of work progress.

The project has been contracted with a private construction company for more than 117 million afghanis, which is being funded by the Afghan government.

It is worth mentioning that this project will connect the villages of Akhwandan, Gulbafha, Deh Tappeh, ChaharKaftar Khan, Wakil, Jamalzai, and Kalata villages.

With the completion of this project, almost 9,250 families will directly benefit and 30,000 other families will indirectly benefit from this project.

It is noteworthy that with the completion of this project, the transportation problems of the local residents will be solved and they will be more connected to their designated destinations.
