Minister Yamin meets with Takhar GOV on roads beyond Kokcha

Eng. Najibullah Yamin, minister of public works met with Abdullah Qarluq, governor of Takhar in his office. The meeting was also attended by the DepMin. of road maintenance of MoPW Payandeh Mohammad Anwari and Dr. Sayed Ashrafuddin, MP of Takhar province in the Wolesi Jirga.
Governor Abdullah Qarlaq called for speeding up the construction of roads beyond Kokcha. He also called for the construction and rehabilitation of roads between Takhar-Badakhshan and Taloqan to Chan and Rustaq districts.
Eng. Najibullah Yamin, minister of Public Works responded positively to the demands of the Takhar governor and adding that the roads beyond Kokcha in the north-east are very valuable from an economic point of view and serious attention will be paid to its construction.
Mr. Yamin, emphasizes the northeastern corridor that connects Bandar-e-Khanum to Khwaja Ghar, Dasht-e Qala, Khwaja Bahauddin, and Yangi Qala districts with Taloqan city of Takhar province.
The minister of MoPW considered the construction of asphalt roads as one of the priorities and assured the quality and speed of all ongoing projects.
