Road of Upper-Yaftal in Badakhshan Is 92 Percent to Complete

This two-kilometer-long asphalt road, which starts from the Samchan valley to the village of Langar in the Yaftal Bala area of Badakhshan province, is under construction and the current status of this project has been reached 92 percent of physical progress. 

This road project worth a cost of about 6 million Afghanis, which's funded through the National Rural Access Program (NRAP) of the Ministry of Public Works.

During the construction of this project, as per direct beneficiaries, 2370 working days have been created for local laborers, and with the completion of this project, the problems that residents of the Upper- Yaftal (Yaftal Bala) district faced in the winter season will be solved completely.

It is worth mentioning, the National Rural Access Program, which has recently been transferred to the Ministry of Public Works, covers hundreds of projects in the urban and remote areas of the country.
