The 57-meter long Bridge of “Qol Haidar Village” is underway
Bamyan: The construction project of a 57-meter-long RCC Bridge plus a strip of 1.5-kilometer gravel road that’s located in Warras district of Bamyan province, has reached 12% of work progress.
According to the MoPW, with the construction of this strategic bridge, both Bamyan and Ghazni provinces will be connected, through the desert of Nawar that is being located on the Ghazni side.
Also, this bridge will abridge the distance between Maidan-Wardak and Bamyan provinces; with the road that goes through the Ghogardan-pass of the Behsud district.
This project that’s valued at 44 million Afghanis has been contracted with a private construction company.
The construction activities of this project are directly being coordinated and monitored by the NRAP (National Rural Access Program) of the Ministry of Public Works.
It worth mentioning, in this project some 790 working days have been created for local laborers and thousands of local people will directly benefit from this project too.
