Kunduz: The Bishkipa road project is ready for operation

The Bishkipa concrete road project located in Kunduz province, which is 14.5 km long, 4 meters wide along with one-meter shoulders to each side, has been completed and ready for operation.

According to the Ministry of Public Works, this rural road was contracted with a private construction company and worth more than 97 million Afghanis that’s paid from the national budget of the Afghan government.

After the official inauguration of this project, the overcrowded villages namely Afghania, Uzbekia, Turkmenia, Majar Turkmenia, Nawabad, Uighur Darak, Deh Niazi, Shahbaz, Mullah Najib, and the village of Qabalanjar will be completely connected through this route.

Otherwise, this road will increase the access of the local residents to the public services and the regional marketplace of Imam Saheb district.
