Tang-e-Logar to Chahal Dukhtaran highway hits 38 percent work progress

The construction work of the Taang-e-Logar to Chehal Dukhtaran road project, which is a part of the main highway that stretches from capital Kabul toward the south-eastern provinces, has reached 38% of work progress so far.

The beginning part of this road project that has 7 km in length and 60 meters in width, starts from the Minaret of Nijat and ends in the "Sia Benni" of Chahar Asyab, district of Kabul.

According to the Ministry of Public Works, some parts of this road have already been asphalted and the remaining parts of the road are under construction, which is going to be completed based on the project's action plan.

It’s worth mentioning; this road is one of the most important economic corridors of the country, which connects the center of Kabul through the southeastern provinces to the dry port of Ghulam Khan located on the hypothetical border area of Durand Line.

Otherwise, with the completion of this highway that is going to be upgraded to a regional transit hub, millions of regional people will get more open access to interact in economic, social, industrial, and agricultural affairs.
