First Lot of Mehtarlaam-Baadpakh Road reaches 83% Physical Progress

Laghman: The first lot of the road between Mehtarlaam-Baadpakh, which is 20-kilometer-long and 6-meters-wide, is under-construction that reached eighty-three percent (83%) work progress.

The contract of this project has been signed with a national private construction company, which worth 319 million Afghanis and the budget of this road has funded by the Government of Afghanistan.

In the meantime, this project has created more job opportunities for local workers as direct beneficiaries, which will increase their purchasing power to be able to meet their basic needs. 

The project will reduce the distance between Mehtarlaam - Baadpakh, which will bring the local people closer to the marketplace, public services, education, health centers, and many more facilities.

It is worth mentioning that the second lot of this project with a length of more than 24 km is under construction too.
